Job Description:

We are searching for an exceptional person to take a position in our sales organization to lead our efforts in our ticketing & donor business that focuses on collegiate and professional sports organizations. This person must have a proven track record for delivering on, or exceeding, revenue goals, within the ticketing industry. The candidate must be highly motivated, extremely organized, conversant with technology, team-oriented, creative, and possess strong verbal and written communication and negotiating skills. This position will report into the SVP who is responsible for business development efforts within the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience working with collegiate ticketing & development teams and have relationships to draw upon.

The Ticketing Sales Director must have strong knowledge of ticketing system management within the collegiate athletics ticketing and donor market-place. Extensive box office experience is essential, as is an understanding of donor and sponsorship management. Candidates should have relationships within the industry, specifically collegiate ticketing and development offices.

Experience and Skills:


  • Create, implement and own a sales pipeline to manage customer lead intake and outbound activity.
  • Qualify and develop new business.
  • Achieve sales goals each quarter.
  • Understand and effectively present company products via PowerPoint, web meetings, Word documents, phone calls and effective onsite communications.
  • Sell our ticketing and donor solutions.
  • Work closely with sales operations, product and contract teams to structure and negotiate optimal capabilities/product pitches and deal terms.
  • Effectively respond to customer enquiries including RFQs, RFIs and RFPs.
  • Travel when necessary to meet potential customers.


  • A proven understanding of the ticketing industry.
  • Experience in collegiate athletic ticketing preferred; ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years’ experience in ticketing.
  • Successful track record in sourcing qualified leads.
  • Ability to build relationships, gets quality meetings with prospects, and builds a solid pipeline of opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate across complex organizations and identify key stakeholders and decision makers to bring deals to fruition.
  • Ability to establish credibility and gain trust internally and externally quickly.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, analytic and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrated experience generating effective presentations, including an ability to understand ROIs and structure compelling customer proposals.
